Why Are Focused Site Visitors Great For Your Website?

Focused site visitors are what make a website successful. Focused site visitors are those who want what your website has to offer. All website owners know this. Without any site visitors or poorly focused site visitors a website cannot add any value to the website owner at all.

Website visitors are people to come to the website in their search of products or services that they need. When this is true, this could result in the website converting the site visitor to a paying customer.  Focused site visitors are the kind of traffic that produces online revenues from sales via your website.

There are websites that get 20 site visitors a day, other websites may get around 200 visitors a day, yet other sites may get 5000 visitors a day, in this scenario it’s quite possible that the website getting 20 visitors a day earns as much as the website that get 200 visitors a day.

Largely because it’s site visitors are focused site visitors, all wanting to spend their money on products or services that are available via the website.  Focused site visitors are therefore high quality website traffic.  High quality traffic usually converts to money in your PayPal account.

Hence after all is said and done, the trick to earning a steady income from any website is using tried and tested techniques that drive focused site visitors to the website.  Greater such focused traffic obviously greater the income generated for the website. It’s really important to meticulous track where such website traffic is coming from hence a Google analytics account is an absolute must. 1. Search Engine Optimization

A huge chunk of all website visitors comes from Search Engines such as Google, Bing and so on. The best quality of site visitors (i.e. website traffic) is obtained when the website’s pages are ranked high in Google’s result page for targeted keywords / key phrases, specifically associated with the products and services available on the website.

Hence, it’s paramount to get – On Page – Search Engine Optimization (SEO) right.  Build a decent amount of one way links from related websites that have high page ranks and your website will start getting a fair amount of focused site visitors.

What a lot of website owners apparently forget is – the creation of great page content.  Great page content is content that adds measurable value to site visitors. Constantly and at regular intervals keep adding such content to your website.  Obviously, a website that has 1000+ pages will attract more site visitors than a 5 to 20 page website.

As web site owner you must view you website content as a – Long term goal.  Keep adding a page (or three) of great content each day / each week.  Over time your website will have 1000+ pages of great content that attracts site visitors like a beautiful face attract looks. Awesome content usually equals plenty of site visitors.

These articles must then be submitted to great article directories such as Hubpages, Go Articles, Buzzle and a few others.  Do not overlook adding your websites keywords / key phrase based links in the article’s resource box where available.  This is a tried and tested way to drive focused site visitors to your website.

2. Article Marketing

Another really effective website marketing technique, which brings in focused site visitor’s is article marketing.  This requires short, interesting, (i.e. 300 words approximately or more) articles are written, which have the website’s keywords / key phrases intelligently and naturally sprinkled within their content.

These articles must then be submitted to great article directories such as Hubpages, Go Articles, Buzzle and a few others.  Do not overlook adding your websites keywords / key phrase based links in the article’s resource box where available.  This is a tried and tested way to drive focused site visitors to your website.

3. PPC – Pay Per Click Advertising

Warning: This can be an expensive way to drive focused site visitors your website.

Having said that, pay per click (PPC) can be the quickest way to get high quality traffic to a website. Be careful when using this website marketing technique. Think it through very carefully. Work steadily to find a PPC campaign which works perfectly for your website. (You can also hire a professional to do this for you if necessary). Once a great PPC campaign is identified scale up the campaign quickly.  Monitor the increase in focused site visitors carefully.  Remember, Google Analytics is just perfect for this type of monitoring.

Pay Per Click Advertising

Microsoft Adcenter and Yahoo Marketing have combined together. This combination does produce decent site visitor flows for the money invested.  Google Adwords is excellent. Regretfully Google Adwords can be a real pain to work with and is a tad expensive.  That said, if financial resources are available, please do not ignore Google Adwords.

4. Social Media Marketing

Social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn have traditionally delivered a lot of focused site visitors and word of mouth publicity for websites.

Simply getting your website’s pages bookmarked in some of these sites can bring in a flood of traffic. While such traffic can be temporary, such traffic often signs on for the website newsletter.  This ought to provide you a way of reaching out such site visitors again.

You tube videos are another really – Hot – way of driving traffic to a website. Do not ignore social media and video sites when looking for sustainable sources of focused site visitors.

5. Email Marketing / Follow-up Lists

This is an often neglected (because of the sheer effort involved) great way to encourage – Repeat Visitors – who will stay a while on your website.

Ensure that you build different contact lists and implement regular, follow ups. Follow up using interesting, informative, Newsletters, special Discount offers, free one on one assistance via Skype, whatever works for your website. This approach can bring in a ton of focused site visitors, perhaps a lot more than expected.

Email Marketing

Place – Viral Messages – within newsletter content. When your newsletter provides valuable information, (i.e. viral content) recipients often pass this on to their friends and co-workers encouraging them to sign up for your newsletter. This word of mount publicity can bring in a surprisingly large amount of focused site visitors.

Other site visitor sources such as Press Releases, Banner Ads, RSS Feeds, Off-line Advertising can be used to drive high quality, focused site visitors to your website.

Finally, if the website sells products or services, please consider a well thought through affiliate plan.  Having other website’s driving focused site visitors 24×7 to your website is really a fantastic way of getting focused site visitors your website.

  1. Focused site visitors are beneficial for the reason that they hold a true intention of buying or learning from your website. Yes, website owners know that focus visitors or not, both are helpful to preserve the website life going.

    There is a remainder between a website that has 20, or 200, or 2000 visitors a day. However, there is a big possibility that the website that only has 20 visitors a day has bigger amount of gross revenue.

    The 5 important website marketing techniques are indeed helpful to deliver focused site visitors to your website.

    Invariably, focused visitors are those visitors that are convertible. Keeping these visitors is crucial for online success.

    However, its not always easy to achieve this when the website/blog don’t have content that solves problems for the visitor.

    So, first and foremost, growing and generating focused visitors begins with creating and sharing valuable contents.

      You said it. If you have a Blog site whose content does not add measurable value to the site visitor, I’m guessing that you are dead in the water.

      Your site is really going to return next to nothing financially to you.

      You’ve got to know your site visitor demographics intimately and ensure you deliver them value add content consistently.

  3. Hey Ivan,

    You need focused site visitors if you want higher sales conversions and build a great email list. Speaking of email list, you would most likely find the more focused, serious subscribers in your email list versus outside of this.

    One thing that I’ve tried in the past was PPC. Yes i got a lot of leads from it, but the problem was I was only making 2 or3 sales a month which didn’t cover the cost of the PPC campaigns. I’ve also used Solo Ads as well, which I got the same results. So with that said, you have to be careful, and be really tedious as far is focusing on finding those focus site visitors! Once you get this right, then it would be easy to get quality leads!

      We seem to have had similar experiences. I also discovered that PPC, Facebook and Twitter Adverts where not all that they are cracked up to be.

      Like a lot of other micro and small businesses I found that I was really contributing to the profitability of Google, FB and Twitter and little or none to me. Like you I discovered that I was not even earning the cost that I was incurring in releasing the ads.

      This was after, understanding and setting up viewer Demographics really carefully.
